Whether you're exploring faith for the first time, looking for a church home, or just curious — you are welcome here, exactly as you are.
SERVICE TIMES
Saturday 6 p.m.
Sunday 9:30 a.m.
What should I wear?
Whatever you're comfortable in. We mean that. You'll see everything from suits to jeans on a Sunday morning, and nobody is paying attention to what you're wearing. Come as you are.
What is the service like?
We are a traditional, liturgical Lutheran church — which sounds formal, but it simply means our services follow a familiar, comforting rhythm each week: readings from Scripture, prayer, music, a sermon, and Holy Communion.
Pick up a bulletin when you arrive. It walks you through everything, step by step. You won't feel lost.
What about Communion?
Holy Communion is part of every service. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive. Most Sundays, people come forward to the altar to kneel or stand. If you'd prefer not to receive, simply bow your head and you'll receive a blessing instead. Staying in your pew is always perfectly fine too — do whatever feels right.
FaMiLES & CHILDrEn
Children are genuinely welcome.
We love having kids in the service. Ask any usher for a children's bulletin and an activity bag. If a little one becomes inconsolable, a nursery room is available — but please don't stress about the fidgeting and whispering. As Jesus said, "Let the children come."
Sunday school for all ages
Every Sunday from 9:45–10:45 a.m., between our two morning services, there is Christian Education for everyone. Children ages 3 through grade 8 meet upstairs in the Christian Education wing. Youth (grades 5–12) meet at the Lodge Lower Level. Adults meet in our Social Room on the lower level of the Christian Education wing. Just ask — someone will walk you there.
