Melissa Jo (Harple) Little

Melissa Jo (Harple) Little, age 61, died Sunday evening, Feb. 22, at Northern Dauphin Nursing & Rehabilitation in Millersburg, PA, where she was a resident since April, 2025. Missy was under the care of Hospice of Central PA beginning in Sept., 2025.
A Mass of Resurrection Victory will be held on Saturday, March 14, at 11 a.m. at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 75 East High St., Elizabethtown, PA. Interment of cremains will be performed at a later date. A luncheon will be served afterward, and there will be no visitation or viewing.
Missy was born Saturday, Sept. 5, 1964, and was the wife of Scott Little. They lived in Elizabethtown, PA, and are members of Christ Lutheran. Their 18th wedding anniversary will be April 19, 2026.
Missy is a 1982 graduate of Elizabethtown Area High School and Harrisburg Area Community College, where she earned an associate degree in paralegal services. Missy began her working career in Elizabethtown with the law firm of Nikolaus, Hohenadel, Chesters and Umbenhauer. She later served as a paralegal with LMS Commercial Real Estate in Lancaster, having last worked in 2018.
In addition to her husband, Missy is survived by her mother, Janet Harple of Maytown; her half-sister, Sandra Wanamaker of Leola; and her step-daughter, Morgan Little of Lititz.
Missy was predeceased by her father, Robert Harple (1992); her half-brothers, Michael Harple (2014), Dennis Kaylor (2017) and Robert Harple Jr. (2024); and her half-sister, Brenda Bierly (2018).
In life, Missy voluntarily donated a kidney to Scott’s mother, Barbara Little. In death, she donated to the University of Maryland Brain and Tissue Bank, as well as the Anatomy Gifts Registry.
